What is Gownies Now?

The front of each Gownie has snaps on either side for easy access by medical staff for examination and for comfortable and less revealing breast feeding. Gownies are made from 100% cotton and completely machine washable, and come in a variety of stylish designs and colors. Good-bye drab and Hello Fab! With the option of choosing from 3 different sizes, Gownies will comfort you in your own size. No more need for a petite woman wearing a hospital issued gown that can fit someone twice her size. Gownies wear can also be extended from the hospital stay, and worn at home after delivery during the recovery process.

How long will it take to get my order?

  • All standard orders are processed within 2 business days, standard shipping typically arrives within 2-9 business days. Gownies does not guarantee a specific arrival time frame with this shipping method.
  • Expedited deliveries will be shipped via UPS or FedEx and are guaranteed to be there within 3 business days of purchase.
  • Express deliveries will be shipped by UPS or FedEx and are guaranteed to be there within 2 days of purchase.
  • In order to guarantee Express and Expedited shipping we need to receive your order by 10 am PST 1pm EST M- F to ship that day!
  • Orders received after 10 am PST - 1pm EST usually ship the next business day. Orders placed on a Saturday or Sunday, or on a US national holiday will ship the next business day regardless of shipping method.
  • Express and Expedited shipping is only available for the 48 contiguous US.

Do you ship outside the United States?

Yes, we offer worldwide shipping. Applicable shipping rates are calculated at checkout. Please note you may be responsible to pay duties. It is the recipients responsibility to pay all duties in the country of destination.

What are your rates for Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, FPO/APO, and other US Territories?

We use only USPS to ship to these destinations, Express and Expedited service is unavailable. Shipping rates are the same as the 48 contiguous US, please applicable rates in the above shipping rate box.

Our Exchange Policy

Defective Item Policy Gownies inspects each item prior to leaving our warehouse. If you do receive a defective product, please contact us at support@gownies.com. We strive to keep our quality high and will offer a full refund or replacement free of shipping and handling charges once the defective product is returned. About Sales Tax We are based in Connecticut where 6.35% sales tax is applied to any item. Any orders outside Connecticut are tax free. If sales tax is applicable, it will be calculated during the checkout process. Our Guarantee to You We want you to be happy with your purchase from Gownies. We guarantee all our products to be free from defects of workmanship. It's just that simple! If for ANY reason you are unhappy with your order, we are committed to working with you until you are pleased!

Return / Return Policy

Products purchased from Gownies.com may be returned for a refund minus the shipping costs to the original payment form within 30 days of purchase as long as they are in new, unworn/unwashed condition and still have the original tags and packaging. Kindly note that items returned for a refund incur a 10% restocking fee of the product’s cost, but items returned for an exchange do not. For your protection, we recommend you return all items via a traceable method from a carrier such as USPS, UPS or FedEx. Gownies is not responsible for packages not received if a tracking number is not provided. Please send your return to the following address: Gownies Customer Service Returns 97 South Street, Suite 118 West Hartford, CT 06110 All returns will be thoroughly examined and items that do not meet our return/exchange qualifications will be sent back at the customer's cost. Please make sure to include a copy of the receipt,or your name, email address and order id under which you have placed your order so we can process your refund.. Once the original item(s) are received at Gownies, we will credit your account the product cost minus a 10% restocking fee. Please allow 1-2 weeks for the refund to appear on your statement.

Exchange Policy

Products purchased from Gownies.com may be returned for an exchange within 30 days of purchase as long as they are in new, unworn/unwashed condition and still have the original tags and packaging. Please ship the original item back to us and we’ll ship your new item out for FREE! For your protection, we recommend you return all items via a traceable method from a carrier such as USPS, UPS or FedEx. Gownies is not responsible for packages not received if a tracking number is not provided. Please send your exchange to the following address: Gownies Customer Service Returns 97 South Street, Suite 118 West Hartford, CT 06110 Please make sure to include your order id /contact info/shipping address ( maybe copy of your receipt) just in case we need to contact you about your exchange. If applicable, a check made out to Gownies to cover any price difference. Once the original item(s) are received at Gownies we will ship your replacement back out to you for FREE! At this time you will receive emailed shipping confirmation and tracking details. All returned pieces will be thoroughly examined and items that do not meet our return qualifications will be sent back at the customer's cost.

International Returns

We cannot offer exchanges on orders shipped internationally. If you need to exchange an item, please return it for a refund and place a new order online for your desired product. We will credit your account upon receipt of the merchandise minus any import tariffs, duties, and taxes. International returns are subject to applicable duty and tax charges in accordance with law. Additionally, we cannot refund the original international shipping charges, duties, taxes, or any other charges incurred. For your protection, we recommend you return all items via a traceable method from your postal carrier as Gownies is not responsible for packages not received if a tracking number is not provided.
